thanks for that mate, it would be the 30mph i would be worried about lol !! got checked out the other day on our local by-pass, by a "newbie" bobby, pulled me in, said,"do you know you were doing 33mph and when you saw me your speed dropped to 29 mph," "AND" i said, a couple of cops sniggering in the background,i then went into a prolonged lessons about speedo errors, etc.bored him shitless. while cars flashing by at 40 plus. so what ya gonna do i said,? he just spluttered and said we will be policing this road quite vigorously in the future,( obviously there is a town councillor living on this road) and off i went on my merry way.

URGENT i have just got the parcel and they have put a 116 link chain in, when the chain i have taken off is 114 this is with a 42 tooth rear sprocket and is fine, so i suppose i will lose some adjustment then? dont want to start this and i have lost all adjustment.

If the sprocket sizes are the same then you want the same chain length. You can shorten the chain to 114 Links.

I have standard 114 on my 05 blade with 16/42 sprockets and it fits fine, it will pull your wheel full forward and therefore shorten the wheel base slightly, which is an ok thing for cornering :)
Best try your 116 and see how far back the wheel sits compared to standard?
You can always pop a link off if you feel you need to
