Thanks dude greatly appreciate that. I'm definitely going to get it fitted because I fail to see how in all reality it could cause major damage etc. I'm definitely also getting the exhaust sorted this weekend because the standard is way too quiet for my liking had 3 vans pull out almost on top of me this morning on the way to work. I'm hoping the old Yoshi R77 from my old bike will fit it...

Right spoken to Ivan @ Honda UK so Honda themselves directly he said that both changing the quickshifter and the exhaust would not in his/Honda's opinion invalidate the warranty on the bike. He referenced Page 13 in the Warranty Booklet for a full definition of everything that can be changed without invalidating the warranty on the bike does anybody have one of those booklets on them today that they could take a picture of and post on here? If not I will check tonight.

I emailed my dealer following my conversation with Honda this morning and this was their response -

    Hi Nick,

As requested we are still awaiting written confirmation from Honda on the fitment/warranty concern with the items you have requested us to fit to your new Honda. Once this request has been answered we will advise you on there response.

Also when making the appointment, the time allocated for the 1st service & tail tidy did not allow for any addition fitments & we are fully allocated for this Saturday. It will not be possible to schedule the additional fitments of these items this Saturday.

I will be in touch as soon as we have had a response from Honda.

    Kind Regards
    Dan Stilwell
    Director

Not really what I expected from a place that managed to screw the pooch on my old bike then try to help fix their mistake by giving me a good deal on a new SP only to then turn around and say actually thanks for spending 15k with us but we really don't give a s**t about you any more and you can fit in around us considering that I already said I wanted the HM quickshifter and exhaust fitted on saturday with my first service regardless of what the warranty said.

Bad move Belle Vue I will now be cancelling the service on my bike for Saturday as well as the service on my wife's bike also booked in for Saturday and we shall be going down to Johns of Romford from now on instead. Won't be getting my custom again EVER!
