I think this is pretty fair - Y.T. could not offer trade in or finance / warranty and needed to sell bike fairly quickly - to do that he set a realistic price he was happy to accept and the bike sold in a short space of time. The buyer may have seen the potential to return a profit by doing little more than offering those services (Trade in / Finance / Warranty etc.) - at the price its for sale at now I think it is good value - what was its true 'open market' value ? - prob. somewhere between what Y.T. got for it and what it is listed at now. But the old saying goes - your bike is only worth what somebody is willing to pay
So am I missing something or going by the eBay listing the dude that bought it off YT is a trader and bought it off YT with sole purpose of selling on?
Yep - its quite common as some dealers can be low of good clean stock, ebay is a good source of stock, often at low prices / from sellers who NEED to sell
This is true! Mate of mine recently put his 2 year old C Class Merc Coupe up in Fleabay and it was promptly snapped up by a Main Merc Dealer. Every Cup of Coffee in a Merc Main Dealer costs U a Grand!
