    Looks really good @nigelrb !:)

Regarding the brake hose bracket on the front mudgaurd......I also drilled out the rivets to enable the removal of the bracket.

However I simply slotted it back into place without securing it and it holds up fine with no issues. ;)

Cheers for that. I was hoping it wouldn't be too much white. A couple had mentioned the originals were black, but hey, it's not even a V-twin so I'm not exactly trying to replicate an original.

Box full of OEMs transferred to the loft already. Might help me keep the price up as bit.

Regarding the hose bracket (@PauloHRC ) I'll buy some longer rivets tomorrow, put the brackets on and then take the riveter back to B & Q for a refund! Reason? 'I'm sorry, my arthritis won't give me the strength to squeeze the handle!' :D

Yep, I agree it would. I really can't see why it needs riveting, given that is a stressless item and the bolt/nut tension is more than ample. And, you avoided the patently stupid mistake I made this morning.
I bought my 7mm long rivets first up this morning.

Checked length and hole alignment. Friggin' brilliant.:)

Bang in the rivets. Gloat to myself and make coffee to celebrate.

Grab my shiny SS 'P' clips. Assume a comfortable position on the floor. Place 'P' clip on bracket. Fook, fook, fook.:rolleyes::(

Riveted the friggin' brackets to the outside instead of the inside, didn't I.

And the troubles weren't over. When the rivet centre pin snapped off, it sat above the actual rivet head, thereby preventing a simple 'drill and remove.

90 minutes later, job's all done. Friggin amateur DIYers:mad:

Came up well, and the rivet is a finishing touch that even @PauloHRC would be jealous of:D.

Luckily you have Pirelli tyres which will match the front mudguard decals......could have been an OCD disaster if you had a different brands of tyres!!:D

Very true, Paul, that did cross my mind. The thing is, I was set to try Metzeler 7RRs before my July MoT. Will have to try them on another bike now!!

Should get my shiny tank emblems tomorrow! For anyone interested:
