So what are the 08 to Present like on the Throttle ?

If I recollect from the reviews, there's more repect required.
I have no visions of becoming a "Ghost Rider". But an occasional venting and gesture of happiness does come upon me from time to time.
Is the gearing the same as my 07 ?

It's like any other 1000cc IL4 really. Engine delivery is v.smooth and turbine-like.
Sprockets are the same as 07 but don't know about internal ratios. My 08 feels taller geared than my 06 did. I immediately felt the need to shorten the gearing a bit.

A bit off topic but my 06 blade I believe to be a US import, will it be restricted in any way?
I know it has the inlet flapper restriction, but it doesn't have an oxygen sensor fitted!

Possibly . Have a search on 1000rr.net to see if they are adding de restrictor devices to the 2006 models, If they are then check if yours already has a G-Pack / Z-Bomb etc already fitted

Well I've had a look over there but i'm useless with a computer and forum searches, I thought i'd found something but when I read further it seemed i was reading about the 08 version.
Any chance of a link, or some help into what would be best entered into the search to give me the best results please!!

Cheers for that, so it looks like i'm full power anyway!
I've got to say i'd never heard of a Z-bomb before reading that thread.
I've got a full exhaust system to get fitted sometime over the weekend, plus i need to get a power commander bought.
I don't know if I should splash out on a new PCV or just get a new or used PC3 USB any thoughts?

    Yeah looks like it mate.

I was gonna buy a new PCV but i found a 6 month old and boxed one on bay and won it for £140.00. Its been great .

If i was you i would be more tempted to get a PCV to have the latest tech on the bike but if your never going to add to the power commander then you could get a bargain on a used PC3 usb

All down to your budget i guess

I forgot about a PC3 on ebay a few days ago and that finished at £108!!
There's a few PCV's on ebay but they are all for the 08> bikes and I take it they wouldn't work on my earlier bike.
I think i saw a company on the net knocking out the PCV's for my bikes year for £285

I've started a seperate thread but whilst searching ebay I came across a guy selling a load of PCV kit that I thought could be handy for all the people on here with newer models: shawt78 | eBay
Also done a wanted, I think an older PC3 would probably do me really as I can't see me adding any other power commander bits.
