    I think the 2012 looks great (virtually same as 08-11) Really like the new wheels, LCD display and the fork and shock redesign. But it is not tempting me of my rr08 just yet. Not enough of a difference in overall design. All of these extras can be done after-market and will give a greater benefit.

    colour schemes look shocking imo...............the only one i liked was the silver one

    +1 the silver would be my choice . Maybe the White but i don't like the red and the all black is a tad boring IMO.. So has anybody seen a repsol yet ?

    That will be in 2013 ....Honda makes its Repsols in the uneven years for some odd reason

    Heard from a dealer today that they will have there 1st one in stock late Nov/early Dec as a demo but even he said there isn't much difference from the current model. Be rude not to have a shot though!

    Wheels look great and was thinking it would be a good idea to buy a used pair and fit to my RR8 until I heard they are heavier than the current wheel.

    Its a nice looking bike dont get me wrong but i have a 2011 hrc abs 1250 miles with pcv gp2 k&n brembo rcs hel lines etc etc no way would i trake up!!

    Five years ago was a guest with the KR Motogp Team at Sachenring really enjoyed that even got to have a chat with Casey(my hero). This WSBK round was pukka VIP jobby where a documentary was being compiled to celebrate 20 years of the blade, it was take after take here Orpington and even more at Imola. TBH I can get used to that quite easily

    Note sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere on the thread...?

    I was googling the colours available for the 2012 bike and this page came back in the results - 2012 Honda Fireblade CBR1000RR details, pictures and specification

    I don't think that my local dealer will be getting one in that early - I'd like to see it "in the flesh" so to speak...
