Are they really that much better ? ?

would you go with these or 20mm ohlins cartridge kit or ktec, maxton etc as I was planning on that next year with ohlins rear shock :)

    simple.

    order, top being best

    Bitubo/KTEC
    Ohlins
    BPF from 2012
    MCT
    Maxton
    Standard.

Yes, they will be better, everyone raved about BPF when it was released on the GSXR, and that had the poorer version that honda 'allowed' showa to sell them.

I spoke, in person, to a journo who was on the Launch and he commented on how the BPF on the blade were twice as good as the Suzuki ones, given that the Suzuki BPF were better than the standard Honda suspension (ALWAYS been hondas weakpoint) i wouldnt hesitate to say it would be a much better upgrade than maxton certainly, and the advantage that you can sell them on if you sell the bike, whereas the market for second hand cartridge kits, especially for the now defunct 09 blade, is non existant.

I had my last blade re-built, new springs and a re-valved rear shock from mct on my last blade.

a mate of mine has an 04 blade with ohlins forks and rear shock, Hes planning on reverting it back to standard and selling it this year so rather than send another few bob with mct at the moment I will wait and buy his ohlins off him, then send them to mct for a refurb.

ROGL GROGL RIGHT BACK AT YOU!

Because just for a ktec piston kit your talking 350 then 80 for springs then oil and thats you fitting em!! Maxton do piston spring oil bump stops etc etc and set em up for weight and style all for 400 sheets!

You my freind have a problem with maxton i would love you to tell richard that you think there stuff is shit just a little better thatn standard etc His knolege would make you look a right tool and a halfords one at that ;)
