lol, no not the road mate, Dan the platers can strip them easy mate and then re ano gold, if you wanted gold, its an easy job just to remove the tubes, why not get a seal kit and new oil, strip and replate (cost £40.00 to plate the CB's) think of it as a nice service for your forks..

Damn .. Should have got them .. they where the BPF's from a brand new 2012 . . Bound to be others as there is a few things popping up now . Or i just keep saving for Ohlins lol
I think they some in to your door from the US at aprox £1700.00 thats near a grand off UK price's!.. you still need to get them setup though.. :S
Not sure where the myth came from but it seems to be quite a common myth. Would be great if you could get the figures.
