Looking good. Is it to much to add a trip to the isle of sky where the bridge is below Applecross? I seem to remember that there's a causeway across the sea too which would be a nice ride across, but cant remember exactly where it is.
It will be easy to add that in without any probs mate. The bridge is only a few miles away from the turn in towards Applecross and we could well stay on Skye for a night, the B&B's are cheap and the views are stunning.
i would be up for this if these are the dates. have to be home on the 14th as am going away on the 15th
Colin your doing a great job already , how many miles is this trip , how many per day , and what areas would we be stopping at over night , ( A B C D ) and so on , Only rough idea please if you've got the time , thanks .
Ok the trip will be around the 650 - 700 mile mark, and I think if we stay over somewhere between the cairngorms and Inverness on the first night. From there head over to the west coast and do the applecross road, and maybe stay over on the Isle of Skye?? or possible head further down and stay at Fort William. Last day we can blast on down the west coast and eventually end up at Moffat. The first and last day will probably be the longest on the bikes, but the second day will be the most technical taking in the applecross road. Thoughts?
