Errrm I'm just bringing a back pack :)

What are you guys bringing apart from the obvious underwear etc? I mean are you bringing evening wear?

All I'll have is what I'm stood in :D

Trev - most folk won't want to sit down for dinner in bike kit... plus if it rains you'll want a dry set of civies - don't forget some folk leaving Thursday am and not home till late Monday so a lot more thought etc. needed than the day trippers or those just doing 1 overnight stop.

I am working on a permit dude but yes it's very appealing I think I would have been tagging on with the Firebloke and GaryB if it wasn't for my brief layoff from work last year which seemed to have me batten down the hatches .

Just a quick update on the first leg of the route to Scotland as my original post is now buried way back on page 43. Meet up at Lymm Truckstop and prepare to leave at 11.00am. Givover will lead the group up to junction 33 of the M6 where myself and Garyb will be waiting. Givover will be relieved of his post and I shall assume command ;) The route is a mixture of scenic country roads taking in Devil's Bridge for refreshments and Hartside Cafe (Alston) perhaps for lunch. My intention was to work out a route that was similar to a Sunday blast and not just a means of getting there. A straight run would take us about four and a half hours but with fuel stops, refreshments and lunch it'll probably take nearer to six hours plus, with an estimated arrival time of six o'clock. We'll be joined at some stage by Stealth (Ryan) possibly Hartside Cafe.
If you spot this Colin perhaps you could post the link up on the first page...................Tally Ho chaps, we're nearly there!!

I would Steve, but the first post is at its character limit, and I can't get any more info on that post.

I followed the route on google earth Steve. Tbh, ive dropped that many feckin pins in the map it's a wonder the British isles ain't sinking ;)

All that said. A cracking route, and for a northerner my self, a couple of roads I've never ridden on.

Can't wait. Specially as I know where I'm going ;)
