    We are at 'the new Delhi bar and restaurant, 11 melgund place, hawick, td9 9hy' £10.95 for 4 courses = bargain!

    hope to be down at south queensferry tomorrow at 10 am. assume its the long car park where most bikes park up on sundays? drove home earlier from Edinburgh. lots of surface water! sadly may not have time to even do the knockhill laps as family stuff cropping up.:(. but still hoping to do that and head home after. one way or another I,ll be down there tomorrow. ride safe guys!

    Yeah that was a good call as I had no signal.

    Basically to all, it's now 2am and I've only just got to the B&B from the Borders hospital (sorry if I woke anyone up when parking outside). My mate went down just south of Hawick. His front wheel wiped out on a bend with what looks to have had a diesel spill, compounded by the wet. He went down on his shoulder which did some damage but also cracked a rib. You'll see him at breakfast though as he's staying behind at the B&B.

    The bike isn't rideable as he cracked his clutch casing and dumped his engine oil, plus a few other bits of damage, so I've made the bike secure and locked it up off the road.

    In the mean time if his luggage turns up at either B&B then please let us know as the police were supposed to drop it off.

    Blue sky here right now folks for how long tho is a lottery, I am heading to south queensferry for 10am down by the cove so hope to see the forum tour then tag along up to Crieff. Have a safe ride up from border country guy's
