Just left the boys heading for Glendevon, had two laps of knockhill, couple of guys getting the knee down with luggage at the hairpin, plenty of cameras and gopro's so should be an interesting read on their return, ride safe guys
Just back as broke off tour at gleneagles. Lads getting great weather. Dry snd sunny at knockhill!!! Surely a mistake! Enjoy the rest of the tour guys!
Well we're now at the B&B in Grantown and its been a great day and a manageable journey considering the distance with there being plenty of stops for us to get the feeling back in our legs, arms etc. There plenty of "Moments", what with GaryB having his mirrors knocked in by an angry female driver, Givover taking some air over the bumpy straight and with me overcooking it into a blind left hander and piling on the brakes with a nervous amount of rear squirming happening underneath me as I couldn't see the exit. I've got to say, these guys are quick, and I mean fecking quick. Probably the quickest bunch of guys I've ridden with, so apologies if I sometimes hang back, especially in the wet bearing in mind what happened yesterday. I'll post pics, but am short on signal up here, I think there may be some truth about the theory of a shortage of masts up here.
although only doing short leg of trip, must say a big you thank you to colin for putting it together and trev for sorting the knockhill laps. great to meet some of you and apologies if I didn't introduce myself.also sorry if I held anyone up but I,m very very rusty! only third time on blade since last oct due to work and weather. lagged back a bit leaving queensferry but first time going over cobblestones where my missus binned her bmw right in front of me.. although I also rode past a spot in glendevon where I crashed my triumph a few years back. hope the weather stays kind for rest of trip!
and I forgot to add as someone else has already noted. by f**k some of you guys are fast!!!. need to put a lot of miles in getting up to speed
