Don't forget your HM GP! (ok ok so I've gone on a bit about them, but no more than Dave V ;) )

This bikes not a bad spec, BST wheels, TTX shock, R&T forks to add (at some point), M4's+Master PCV, AT200, HRC this and that, LiPoFE and so on BUT it does not have the nice SP motor!

True mate, I've been chatting to the owner of this bike today and looks like engine work is on the cards! So will be great too see where we go with it, prob flow head and cams, squish etc to liven it up, maybe a light flywheel etc.. as for colour she just going to get some decals and be left raw for now ready for testing in Spain sometime this month :)

Can't see it mentioned anywhere in the thread but motorcycle this week gives details of the SP... But also gives details of the new 'standard' 2014 blade.

The engine gets cylinder head mods improving inlet and exhaust gas flow and combustion efficiency... The result an extra 3bhp peak with also improved mid range. The engine will also rev higher. So the standard 2014 share all the exact same performance figures as the SP.

It also get the same bars and footpeg revisions.

Yes some of mate, I have another small box trailer for suspention rebuilds (nothing pretty) and another for metal work and I use my fathers (on the same 12 acre site) old school workshop for welding work that's larger scale plus manual lathe work, then at another location a place to store and work on aesthetics etc. Somewhat of a mixed bag for the bikes and no real glamour showrooms just a place to work, I owe a lot of it to my old man who lets me stay at his yard and put up with the bikes day and night.

He's put up with me here for all these years, I am who I am today thanks to the yard, worked on engines etc since I was a little boy, my childhood thing was exhaust pipes and light bulbs since the day I could talk Ha Ha, when I was a toddler they say I'd sit and watch the rain flappers on the exhaust of trucks and tractors all day long Ha Ha...I'm still hooked today as I was when I use to run round the yard with no cloths on Ha Ha, I don't do that no more honest guv lol, promise!

Lived here all my life, to date it's always been great, a lot has happened here, people have lost fingers and my father lost his leg here with a winch cable, cut it off at slow speed, I've been electrocuted by a DC welder and knock near spark out, fires, explosions you name it and all in 40 years, you never know what's going to happen in the time bubble of the yard!

Heard today the SP is a VERY exclusive bike - only brought over in tiny numbers, something like 2 per dealer allocated, so if interested act fast as I doubt they will hang about and could become pretty collectable.

No word on pricing of 2014 standard and SP bike yet mind.

Does the SP come with ABS as an option or can you have it without, I'm sure I read it somewhere?

    Never mind.

The Euro bikes come with ABS and the US bikes without.
