We have a black tie dinner in Kensington this evening and as it's Chinese New Year plan to go for lunch tomorrow in China Town I will confirm a table for 12 on the assumption that Dave can make it. Well we made it to China Town yesterday. Despite only having a few hours’ sleep and horrible hang overs which didn’t improve with all the Chinese new year crowds pushing and shoving along trying to get into a security blocked of China Town due to thousands of folk throwing fire crackers, banging drums and blowing whistles. After two hours we had only managed to get as far as the east side of Lisle Street and decided to give up and go and get some Dim Sum which was perfect for settling our stomachs washed down with plenty of Chinese tea to rehydrate our alcohol sodden bodies. When we left we still couldn’t make any progress towards the Imperial so gave up and went home. I will have to give them a ring today and confirm the booking and numbers.

Table booked for 19:30 I have booked for 12 people just in case we get a late runner; it’s always easier to cancel a cover than increase the numbers at short notice. Crap, sorry guys, but I'm going to have to pull out. g/f had a call last night after which she said she wouldn't be able to come as she has to go deal with some family bollox.
