Have actually thought about a white one SW then I could adapt one of these:- CBR 1000RR 2011 HRC FIREBLADE STICKERS DECALS KIT 2010 GRAPHICS SET | eBay to give it a look similar to my beautiful HRC 'blade. Trouble is, I don't think 'White' is a current colour option. Isn't she lovely.....
Think you're right Nicko! Current colours seem to be Black, Grey, Silver and a Maroon/Red scheme. Buy a low mileage used one then in White!
I need to get a test ride on a DCT equipped bike. At the mo' I'm trying to find out ( does anyone know?) if/when they started fitting self canceling indicators as they've started to do on the 800 VFR. If I decide to get a late model, 2013/14, it'll probably mean having to let my 'blade go and I'm not entirely comfortable with that thought yet . Need to make a decision by the middle of Jan'. That's 'sales' time so even though it's winter I might swing a good deal. I'm aware it's not a good time to sell a bike but that cuts both ways as the dealers got the same problem too. The thought of stripping all the 'upgrades' (Taylormade zorst, PC5, Colour coded 'comfort' seats, Carbon block chain luber, Charging cable etc, etc.) before I chop it in is daunting but they'll have to come off and be sold separately 'cos dealers just laugh at you when you point them out don't they. At the moment there seems to be a few really low mileage ex-demo' bikes similar to this one on offer. Time to saddle-up and get going round the dealers once the Xmas pud's settled I think. Self cancelling indicators are not on the 1200 yet buddy, all dealers are defleeting their demos ready for 2015 spec models. There are also some really good deals on brand new for the same reason , you know you want to.....
I test rode a couple months and it was nice enough but felt really down on power compared to the blade. Not unexpected but felt slower than I thought it would. I liked the dash though.
