The abs issue has left a distrusting feeling with the bike, bit like a wife who wants to kill you so you have to sleep with one eye open

I've got a 2015 non abs model but while it was in for service I was lent a 2016 sp with abs. The brakes were really good and I never had the brake fade issue. The only issue I had was when I was stationary. The brake lever would either feel really good but sometimes would have a lot of travel in it. Seemed a bit strange as it had only done 1500 miles.

So crap to read of another poor bugger suffering with This Kak ABS-C
I traded my repsol abs in for a non ABS-C Anniversary model, IT WAS THE BEST THING I DID!
The abs model screwed with my enjoyment of biking....its dangerous!
Since then Ive had my Fireblade stolen and decided to try something less nickable and more suited to winter riding.

The shocker being it is an ABS model....The bigger shocker is they are awesome brakes. Im convinced its the Combined ABS the problem is with. The Africa Twin Brakes are standard non linked abs and in 4.5k miles not a hiccup...Im loving biking again.

Having said that...looking forward to 2017 Blade. Non C-ABS i hope!

Love the Africa Twin just can't have one, allways wanted a bike like this to go touring round the world, if I had one I would probably quit work and sodd off and not come back.
