So what.......you mean you can't buy a brand new £50K+ Race prepped Superbike for sub £20k................... ... aw balls!
I've heard blade will be out next year as its ready early, also heard they are not playing the power game or electronics but have registered patents for some new engine designs. New bike will be small and super light but not huge power which was always Hondas vision for the blade. Will be interesting do like the sound of the new zx10 though!!
Each leg boasts a separate compressed nitrogen gas canister at the fork bottom with damping force generated separately to the main tube in a different chamber. This allows the whole surface of the main piston to act as a pump, pushing oil towards the valves and keeping pressure more constant. I dont think they are trying to make them look like a gas fork, they are just introducing a new type of fork.
I know how they work lol. Thanks tho. How I meant in my original post was that. They are giving you more as a base to be modified. Someone like Mct or ohlins etc could use that to make a better kit to slide in and use that to make something very good. Could even work out cheaper than when people have whole fork changes
The main issue I was eluding to from my previous post was that no matter what newer bits are fitted to the production bike they are still all built to a small and tight budget, this sub £20k budget the manufacturers are building to means the quality of the components are never going to be as good as the proper 50-100k (depending of championship series) race brotherin!
I bet there will (and think there are) some belting deals on new 2015 stock to clear - think sub £11k for a bike way more capable than most of us, or you wait and buy the 2016 for prob. £5k more in the spring http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2015-Kawasaki-Ninja-ZX-10R-SE-15-/161817243722?hash=item25ad0f304a Just one of a few final editions on offer - no ABS mind which 2016 will have as standard
Yeah sorry lads I read that back today and thought what a shit answer lol. True but I hear the shock has been developed with Kawasaki money put into the pot to being on the R&D. You never know it might be the next big thing like the big piston forks The only problem might be that the shock could be painted so only showa has the power lol
Yeah mate imagine they pulled a veron and actually lost money on each one just so we could rock the 100k suspension like the race lads now thats the dream lol But on another point I was told the front fork set up alone is worth 8K now that is a lot more than even the electronic ohlins units on the ducati r1 m1 ect. Thats not including the rear. You never know they might be rocking
I don't think it looks drastically different to the old one. Yes the screen is back to normal and the tail not as bulky, it also has nice forks. I was offered a new 2015 with Akra exhaust for £10450, 4.9%apr finance as well, lot of bike for that.
