http://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/...usive-2017-honda-cbr100rr-fireblade-revamped/ 8kg weight loss and 180bhp, looks like the same engine and chassis though. Not sure if I like the styling though
Thanks for posting This might get a few people back on a Blade! "Another key change to the new Fireblade will be the introduction of the full suite of Bosch electronic control systems to replace the weighty Honda C-ABS system. The Honda C-ABS contributes more than 10kg to the Fireblade’s overall mass, whereas the latest Bosch 9.1 MP ABS weighs 3.5kg and offers more finely controlled ABS, traction control, anti-wheelie and the revolutionary cornering ABS, too. "
That alone isnt enough imo... although a very small step in the right direction. but yet again more MCN speculation... i'll wait till the actual bike comes out, not their 'collective inside info' put together to get some traffic on their site / sell some papers. If however by miracle and the blade comes out anywhere near what they are suggesting, i'd be disappointed and consider this just another poor update and falling further from the competition. Only time will tell.
Its not the real thing...its an MCN image of how it might look Given the collective data....I think it may look more like this I'm quite good at family portraits too...discount for forum members
Mcn cannot get owt right , they show a pic of the latest blade . And it ain't the latest it's a 13my lmao
Spoke to the Honda BSB guys and even they don't know anything about the new 2017 bike so not sure how MCN would get an insider scope. If anything I'd expect a leak from a Japanese website. But they do seem to have some precise details - such as the ABS system - so maybe they might just have some insider knowledge
Watch this space lads. It's going to be a beaut. Nothing like the above bike MCN have said it is going to be. Game changer is what I have heard
Aye Colin that's what aurther Daley dazafordwest reckons he seems to always be in the know and I bet he has the first one on here but for how long. Well ? He's a good lad tho
I'm sure it's bollocks like the rest of the special insider info !!! Have to wait for the true Honda unveiling for the truth. And there a true Fact
My view on the New Blade. It will be a improvements that's no brainer. I loved my 2011 Repsol. But if it is like the Motorcycle news pics I don't like it Looks to much like the RSV Not that the RSV is not a great bike but just looks the same front nose. Honda took to long for me to change the bike from the original 2008 bike I came to own and love. And have not thought about my Blade since I bought my new bike
