Wow! £20k fireblades. Feel like I'm in a parallel universe.

Way too much £ for the SP.

The New GSXR1000R is a far better buy IMO.

That along with the new ZX10RR which again will be cheaper and I have to say I doubt Honda will catch the Kwaks up in racing terms any time soon, after seeing how much £ Kawasaki is pouring into the likes of the WSBK paddock.

I hope the prices are wrong and they bring the SP down towards the £15k mark and SP2 to around £17.5k. That's where they need to be if they plan on getting in on the market.

Totally agree with you on the prices! How can they justify £14.5k for a bike that won't have a quickshifter and active suspension when Bmw sells theirs for £500 roughly more with these as standard

Base should stay the same as it is now! £12.5k
    SP for £15-16k
    SP2 for £18-19

    "2017 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade (Sub £17k)"

    "2017 CBR1000RR Fireblade SP (Sub £20,000)"

    "2017 CBR1000RR Fireblade SP2 (Sub £25,000)"

Agree hope it is wrong - can't see them selling many at that!

What do people who sat on the bike think to the riding position? The bars felt further forward than my current RR-E.

No way for a bike prices have gone stupid......I thought 9995 was expensive back in the day for a K5 I paid £10495 back in Dec 2013 for one of the first updated abs blades ,, liked the HRC colour...will be keeping that then couldn't justify 12k plus to change ....madness I would have to really want it ...

Possible! They might have changed the rearsets again further back which could give the effect of the bars being further forward

This is Honda's way of gauging consumer reaction.
The suggested pricing above is far too expensive.
I'd buy a BMW if I was spending £15k on a bike. Something with all its bells and whistles already tested (by BMW not the end user)
