Nearly 20k for a sp1 jog on....no chance I will keep my 2014 HRC and enjoy bought and paid for....as for the one above as soon as you ride it our the showroom 12500k .....as new model out ....you would have to really really want one of the new models even if it was on a pcp which most will be rightly so who wants 20k tied up on a bike !
I think Honda are really going to struggle to sell many Blades in the UK at these prices. Maybe they will end up having to heavily discount them towards the end of the year? Bike such as the Kawasaki ZX10 are looking much better value than a base Blade - cheaper and better spec.

Got a sp2 ordered but I think I will hang on to me r1 as blade is no better imho .i told you peeps months ago what prices would be and it came true not going to reveal my source but he is well in the know at honda ,he said so1 would be inline with r1m and as the r1 has gone up honda would price there's a little more hence nearly 20 k Good night mr honda
I would be keeping the R1 too Graeme, if the blade had been a ground up rebuild/brand new bike like the R1 rather than what essentially looks like another facelift the price would have been justified. Its going to have to be some bike when the rags eventually carry out the road tests to sell at those prices but I'm not holding my breath.
But we all know, not a single mag will really tell it like it is, if the bike isn't up to scratch. They don't want to lose the revenue. You've only to see how many mags took up the ABS cause. NONE
If i was inclined to change bikes this year it would be 5th on my list to test ride. Better looking and better value for money bikes avaliable, although that doesnt stand for much till the new blade has been tried out as its not always whats on paper that makes a bike feel like the one. Regardless, I dont think i would enjoy riding any of the current offerings any more than my current bike and i certainly wouldnt be any quicker, just poorer.
I Am faster on my new bike than I was on my blade but I am looking forward to reading reviews on the new blade and taking a test ride at some point, however I usually keep bikes that I like for a while so won't be changing anytime soon

Think I'll just keep an eye out for fairings and headlight! Mine weighs over 10kgs less than the new model and is going in for a dyno soon so won't be much difference power to weight wise
