Brake calipers would be the same if c-abs unit or Bosch used! It's inside the bike that you can't see if whether Bosch or hondas abs ecu and pump system

I think it will look great - passing old fashioned S1000RRs - really looking forward to that. :D

It will go like fook if it is so small and light, with 200hp and quick shifter ! (and electronics that do not throw you in the ditch).

    edit: comment about Bosch

Older blade fans might be happy if it is using same frame etc as could be a cheap upgrade if they only want to go the plastics route to change the look of older bikes

To be fair as oem calipers go they are pretty good! Otherwise Suzuki and kwaka owners wouldn't change theirs to Honda ones

According to Dave Hancock who has test rode and developed every Honda in the last 25 years the new blade is like the original, lightweight with exceptional power to weight ratio ,all the electronics questions have been answered and the benchmark is the Bmw S1000rr so should be interesting bear in mind this is the guy who helped develop the RCV road bike

Yes, sounds great, all the long list of extras and gear fit off my 09. ??

Brembo brakes, Ohlins, Gilles parts? So how much of the new bike will be left???

Buy a BMW HP4 and leave it as it is and don't have the insurance problems of classing it as a modified bike.

Surely a new bike should be perfect and not need to have parts added.

Are the rear pegs easier to remove?

Does it have heated grips as standard and cruise control?

From what I read there are to be 3 models.
    Basic, SP1 & SP2.
Basic has current brake system & Showa forks, others have Brembo & Ohlins.
And are they ditching ABS altogether or just their version in favour of an outsourced one ?

Wife says if she can keep my current blade she will allow me to get the new one.
Liking the styling, but a shorter can us a must for me.
Front end looks more Panigale than blade.
Electronics will be redundant for me tho. ;):D

Maybe the basic is them sweeping up all the old parts they have left like wheels, frame, forks, brakes, swing arm etc from our era bikes and the SP1, SP2 bikes will be something special and be an all new bike ??

Right, who's for a dream team fantasy bike and what it will have ?? :D:cool:

I think it's going to be mega:D and a game changer! But also one to consider for next year will be the all new GSXR! Never underestimate Suzuki for developing something amazing, just look how ground breaking the K5 was and still is! Still Nothing available since that matches its power to weight! ..... :)
