I'm pretty boring ...110mile loop 1st thing in the morning all around the countryside then back in time for breakfast with my mate on his BMW all different types of road...,but none that would need cruise control although he does like his heated grips when mine are freezing....,,not into touring yet but if I was and had to ride to work I can see cruise control would be a good option....on long trips rather go in the car.at the moment if money no object would like something like a multistrada s as well as the sp for going on adventures ....

Yep, I'd use it if I had it - in certain applications, like you say.

Where did you read £19k for the base model Wozza? I've just heard £15k for the base?

I was just reading last week's MCN. BMW feature on page 5 says: '. . . don't expect too much change from 20K for the top spec.'

Elsewhere states price TBC. I'll make an enquiry for you at the NEC on Saturday!!;)

That's what I expect, £20k for the M, £15.9k for the base and then a few mid specs in between.

On that note I see the v4s used are dropping in prices so one with 2k miles on year old can be had for 19k...so dropped 5k in a year.....no different to my sp I suppose.....

44 teeth video from the show says 15k base 19k for the m? Even at 20k with the m package and those carbon wheels it looks good value in today’s market

My ape from some dealers should be £19995, I paid £16995 with exhaust worth nearly £1000 bet I'd be lucky getting £13000 for it

    Hello my Hobbit friend:D.

So we've dropped 5 Grand already? Damn!! In real terms I might have lost more, given that some dealers are dropping the 2s for 19,995:(. Still, I've no regrets at all!

Please don't post that stuff as I'm likely to go and mortgage my house!!:):)

Thanks for the tip off. Just bought a pair of 'cheapies' from Mega Mart's sale in Swindon last weekend. My next buy-up will be at NEC on Saturday - after my selfie with Anna Carrasco;).

Looks like the base model is pretty basic with not even a Quickshifter mentioned (RR £15,290) (RR Sport £16,700) but £19,315 for the M Sport will be tempting. Think the rear lights in the indicators may be an issue though :( Screen Shot 2018-11-19 at 06.24.21.png

Well saw it in the flesh today at the show...the build quality and materials used are not great most people looking at it weren't impressed....it does look flimsy and the dash is the size of a iPad not even interested in test riding one...the worst bit is around the screen....plastic mesh of the seat cowl and the swingarm looks like off a cb500'...no doubt it will go well but still.......

Interesting, because a few on here have 2017 - 18 models and seem pleased.

Would love to learn if the build quality has actually diminished, or are we too used to the generally good quality of Honda?
