Are you touring alone or with pillion? Reason I. Ask is if your alone an Auxiliary tank fitted over back seat and tapped into main tank is a damn sight cheeper. I had a tank made in the USA if you want Jaxons details let me know but it costs this is his work The Wandering Waltons: The XT1200Z Tank Conversion Project - Part 2 I bought a brand new tank on USA eBay and shipped it straight to him. I wanted to retain original shape which he did 100%

I just found filling up once every 350 miles made life easier on big rides. Rochdale to Dover on one tank job done. I still have no idea what range my bike does but still having a ball.

At least it's not 125 miles like the 675 was. Now that really was mind blowing LOL

I prefer Baron von Grumbles take on this.

He just carries a 2 litre Robinsons Squash Bottle filled with unleaded and just tops the tank up if needed.

    Simpleeeesss! :D

Those Japanese tanks are very nice, but at around £1800 are pricey, also 2 month lead time from order to delivery !!
I noticed too that after July 31 they won't be exporting any more due to new regulations !
I reckon a good scour of the UK will unearth a craftsman who could make a bespoke tank.
Maybe a look into the regulations regarding tank materials could open up the options
