Woke up to leave at 09:20 and it was absolutely chucking it down here in Windsor and now we have a very heavy thunder storm. The blade is staying tucked up in the garage! Hope it's better where you are!
After the Ace Cafe fiasco I never thought it would happen again, but Another meet where no-one meets!!!!!
ah cool reading this earlier made my heart sink as I was going to pop along but the signs were not good on the forum..looked like everyone was pulling out I'll pop across to the next Loomies meet
I've just got back and hung the soaking wet leathers up and pealed off the gloves to find the dye has run onto my hands which are now red & blue. Good to meet up with the dirty dozen that braved the rain and turned up.
Well i dunno what your complaining about, I was soaked by the time I walked to my car and put the heating on!
Your reply didn't come through to the phone in time Good to meet up in the end, now I can put faces to names for those who were there The ride back was fun apart from the bloodly lake we had to ride through!, Just outside Shoreham I got the dreaded flashing fuel light, then the counter started to count down! I went to the front of the pack to say I needed fuel and I was going to rush ahead to fuel up (so not to hold anyone up), (I think that bit got lost through the exhausts noise) and then catch everyone up. Each time I opened a gap up the front of the pack caught me up when I knocked 10% off Glad to see you all know how to ride the bikes Fueled up in Shoreham at Tesco's (only place i could find) but by then everyone had long gone Had a boring ride back home, hope everyone else had a good ride and enjoyed it. Look forward to the next one
Just got back to Maidstone for a refeshment with dv.... Top day fellas, considering the forecast got caught in two showers, done about 280 miles, covered most of the south east, loads of bike meets and some decent roads! Think I counted 14 of us at one point so good effort all round!
No prob's, I had fun whilst it lasted. Didn't want you too think you was going too slow and I went to the front to speed things up Your R1 doesn't go too bad does it
Yeah, sorry mate, once you got the the roundabout I missed what exit you were and knew there were a couple ways you could have gone home so thought you were calling it a day. Always next time ey R1 goes great, but it's not my hrc! Lol
