hey guys you lot passed me in petworth, i was sitting in a layby with my mate, we followed you lot to petersfield, but we peeled off to meet a friend who didnt show, went to loomies i guess you were the blades parked by the safe riding display but no-one was by the bikes and didnt want to wander around like a muppet asking everyone if they were from the forum,
Had a great ride out 310 miles i clocked.Nice to meet you all who braved the weather to meet up.We had just 2 showers going down so it was mostly dry roads. And boy did I enjoy it. Shame the rest of you didn't come but hey you guys haven't got a dirty bike to clean.
Jimbo you rode that R1 bloody quick. With a blade under you god knows how we would've kept up.Top banana get it?Lol
Sorry I did not make it guys, had to work yesterday so could only pick up the bike from the dealer this morning, still it was pissing down so the bike was mullered in a few miles, will spend the rest of its life like it, so fitting start really. Nice slug of mid range torque over the RR6, and weight distrubution feels better, and more grunt at the top end, so happy days all around, except a backward step on the dash front (2010 model), what a pile of crap that layout is, reflections and all. So it was a blast from Kent Motorcyles around the coast like a complete saddo on my own, at least the Mr Whippy at Rye saved the day, even if I did eat it in the pouring rain. Look forward to your next meet.
And my black & white blade was even further away in the far corner my the picnic tables on it's lonesome amongst Harley's and other such filth!
Pretty good today ! have to sort another one soon , nice to meet all of you . The weather was Very bad on the way home down the A3 could not see a thing , Had to wash my blade this evening it looked like I had been riding in a ditch !
Lol, My missus and my Old man are both Strawberry Blonde. It's better that I call them that or i'll get a kicking
Just thinking, does anyone remember when we left loomies and went through that village, there was a copper with a speed gun. I'm fairly certain he was putting it away but not 100%.
Yep, he was on the right hand side of the road facing the opp direction of our travel. We got warned by a biker before we got into the village. He had a Sierra driver pulled over, we was doing 30mph through all of the villages, so were safe.
Yeah by the garage, he was facing the other way, as I came by I slowed for it and he just signed to keep the speed down, but isn't have it on us!! Phew....
