She reckons it's all a big ruse to get her to drive there and back with 3 Kids whilst I 'Carve' me way there and back on the Blade! :D

The thought never crossed my mind! ;)

Am looking into fitting 55's on my next change, Can you let me know how small the gap between tyre and rear hugger gets with respect to using tyre warmers please

Or if anyone else knows that on an 04-07 model?

    Thanks

I never measured it but it looked around 10mm. That was with a standard hugger on the 05. I was concerned enough, as heard rumours about it being a grower, that I carried an Allen key around just in case I needed to junk the hugger. That never happened tho and it was fine.

Well fitted safto at Demon Tweeks then off to The Poderossa and Bala Lake for a scrub in!

    Initial impressions are fantastic!
Much softer ride at the rear with loads more compliance over bumps etc which would have had me outa the seat on the PR3's
Not too bad on the Chicken Strips considering there only 45 miles old!
Tip in is better too with no noticeable loss of straight line stability which some said may be the case.
Grip is better despite not being scrubbed in fully yet.
Ride height is noticeably higher in the seat which suits me fine as I can now stretch me legs comfortably on the go without dragging the Sidi's on the deck!

All round + IMHO with no negatives!
Bout 10mm clearance on the rear hugger in the Pix
