why would you see the TD as a race with a transponder? Here in belgium we use transponders and the groups are rearranged at lunch. Yes I agree that people should book in the right group, but is it the fault of the rest of the group if someone doesn't? should they be punished and have someone in their group that doesn't belong there.

There are always a few that say fast is full so I'll go to the next group or that some have never been on the track, like YT in jerez, he would feel shit after the first day being the fastest in his group, overtaking 100 people every session, people not on the correct lines, braking 200m earlier than he does when he's in their slipstream etc etc.... only because the thought never been there so will drop down a group, and be stuck in this group for the other 2 days...

All you have to do is bang on a transponder and re group after the last session( during the day no one needs to know there times, so theres no racing going on). It also gives some good bar talk that night

Crashes don't go hand in hand with transponder use so you wont be able to compare really. I'm off to monte blanco next wednesday with FE(unfortunately) and will let you know what happens there


Lesson one for YT - never drop down a group, even if you don't know the track

@YT - say you ride with Jase in the same group at cadwell and your times aren't that far off each others, why wouldn't you go in the same group at jerez, olton, donny where ever really?

next year book with FE so I can come and crash the party

there's always people that will pass you(if your in the right group), even in the fastest groups

It's about 1.5 hour/2 hour drive from airport to hotel then a daily commute to the track of about 15 min each way , anything can be better than the shit heap we had so just keep" budget" out of the google searches and it should be fine.
