929 was crap on fuel, low 30s, 954 late 30s, RR6 mid 40s, now RA is late 40s, I get 140 to light regular as clockwork, except in very cold weather when it drops to 130, I can only guess the FI runs richer for longer in the cold temps.

Like others I am now putting in 50 quid a week where it used to be a month not that long ago

87 miles to a full tank? You need to stop using the sqeezy bottles for carbs

I ride probably as hard as you can on the roads (no boast more ashamed) and i always get around 90miles before reserve light comes on giving me approx 39mpg avg. I've had 140miles before reserve light has come on but would give up biking if I had to ride like that all the time....

I always fill right to that metal plate and some but only before riding out, I wouldnt leave it sat for long with a brimmed tank :D

It comes on automatically when your reserve light activates and counts up to 0.77 and then you're bone dry if that's what you're getting at??

    Ah, Right!

I was looking for an actual visual indicator graphic Fuel Gauge like Cars have.

Trouble with the reserve indicator is if you aint keeping track of the trip mileage then the first you know is when it activates and you have less than 30 miles to find a Fuel Station!

You can configure auto reset mode so that when you fill up it automatically resets Trip A, Average Fuel Consumption etc.

Already got that set up Ian, didn't explain my self properly.

What I ment is if I fill up say at 100 miles and don't reset the trip and don't take any notice of the reading then I'm lost.

The Auto-reset only works if the Reserve indicator has been activated.

If, for example I fill up as above at 100 miles (and take note, but don't reset the trip) I then know I will hit reserve at around 250 miles on the trip.

If I forget then I aint got a clue.

If Honda actually did a proper fuel level indicator the it's always there in plain view no matter what happens.

FFS, it aint difficult is it, and I'd rather have that than a Chav Lap timer function that 99% of Peeps will never use!

I just fill up at every rest break, all I know is when I do my summer
trip to the south it takes me one extra fuel stop to get there.
was just looking at the fuel tank capacity today and the blade has
3 litres more than the 848 before reserve but that gets me an extra
    15 miles lol.
