Sad news lads, I won't be able to make this Just been informed that I have to test the boys & girls on their 8 mile (AFT) loaded & timed tab up & down the hilly section of Chillwell camp. This is so they can be passed fit for an operational tour overseas So I will be thinking of you all enjoying yourselves whilst I take them for their nice little stroll in the fresh air!!!!!!
Mate, two things spring to mind... 1. You're over thinking your trackday. Turn up check your tyre pressures and fold your mirrors in. Job done. 2. Don't leave working on your bike until the weekend before a trackday. If anything goes wrong, stripped bleed nipple etc. you're in big trouble. Learnt this the hard way and ended up on a wild goose chase around the country trying to find a replacement rear spindle for my trackbike. Only made the trackday due to a mechanic at a local Suzuki dealer removing the spindle from his personal race bike and lending it to me. Before this I'd even tried taking the spindle off the Blade to see if it would fit I was that desperate !
I've just done the AFT (8 mile, 2 hrs, 15Kg) today and my PFT (in 2 minutes each, over 50 press ups, 44 sit-ups and a 1.5 mile run in under 10.5min) yesterday. Needless to say my body is currently in rag order. Ah well, the sun is out so out for a quick blast and a brew at H-cafe before the Mess function tonight where extra large quantities of ale will be consumed.
Get out Chilli, you'll enjoy it. Think the meeting point will be in Kent, so just a quick trip over the water for you. I'll be travelling from Surrey, so opposite side of the M25
Oakdene Cafe, Wrotham - Google Maps there you go mate. best way is round the M25, come off at swanley jct - A20 to west kingsdown / brands hatch, keep following A20 to Wrotham, past the Moat pub / total (may have changed name) garage it's on your left!
Here you go - Welcome to the Oakdene Cafe website. The Oakdene Cafe is a traditional English transport cafe which serves generous portions of good home cooked food. Oakdene Cafe, London Rd, Wrotham TN15 7RR It's on the A20, between the M20 (J2) & M26 (J2a) https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&...ham+TN15+7RR,+United+Kingdom&t=m&z=15&vpsrc=0

Good effort mate, ale dull's the pain so i'm told I took the them on their 8 AFT and lost over 3 quarters of them at Chillwell, they don't like them there hills They must pass on this occassion or no go to the sunshine for them. I'm RAC but I still carry 25kg, took 31 grunts out who are half my age for their AFT, and only came back with 6 men and 2 of them were my front markers
