A cautionary tale...crash bungs

    I had the same problem when i changed the fairings on my 600rr one side broke and i had to drill it out !!
    I would not touch them if i were you

    What's left of the R&G bolt sticking out of my fairing. Honda garage cut the crash bung and the head of the bolt off because they needed to remove the fairing. They made a bushing up to enable them to use the R&G bolt to support the engine.
