Sounds like Arthur has got you really sorted out Martin. Glad to hear the bike is back up and running, and even better than before by the sounds of it.
Sunny days....possibly but certainly not missed any nice sunny days Hopefully they'll be here soon as rode mine again today and must have looked drunk riding down the road being blown all over the place!!
Cheers Colin, yea he sorted me out, he's a top bloke mate and I don't mean just because he fixed my bike, he's a fantastic bloke to talk to.
Yea I've spoke to him a few times on the phone. He has nothing but time for a gab, even though he is a busy man.
Well what can I say that hasn’t already been said. Arthur, you are a top, top bloke. Most of us are going to burn when our time comes, you my friend deserve to hand pick your 40 virgins. But in the mean time you have me as a customer when my bike is out of warranty, assuming I don’t swop it this year.
I can't believe there haven't been any sunny days... Sigh... I hate riding to work in the rain... Although my new Weise leathers are nice and waterproof...
Your the man Art, my 10's getting ready to come out from its winter lay up. Due a service, will be in contact soon to book it in.
You're lucky to have someone like Arthur there, Martin. You guys are copping some weather according to our news. Summer wont die here, 36deg tomorrow, too hot for riding with ATTG on. We are looking foreward to some cooler weather, you can have the snow though.
Glad this has all turned out OK, Martin. Was gutted for you when I saw your bike on the back of the trailer so early in the year. As for Art.....what can I say that hasn't already been said. Absolute legend. The forum's damned lucky to have you, sir.
If it starts rattling and its a Honda then its 99% chance its the CCTs, I had two firestorms and the second one got manual CCTs, your right they eat themselves alive when they let go, luckily CBR600/900 you get a nasty sounds and a bit of time to repair them, which is also an easy job.
I missed some of this thread Doh, seems Art has sorted the bike then martin. What a guy And so glad a little forum like this can bring people together in very positive ways Makes me want to take a trip to See Art and what magic he can do
Remal it would be well worth the trip mate, I reckon it would take you around 1hr 20mins to get there. Amazing the help I have had mate, Arthur came to my house worked on it there then picked it up and fixed it for a really really good price, filled my head with knowledge etc. Plus had loads of advice and offers of help from so many other members I can't even remember the names of! Put it this way without the forum she would be sat in the garage for at least a year collecting dust and I would have another year off 2 wheels Your all great
Well thats great news and I Googled where Art is and he's about 110 miles from me going down from reading so may be worth a summer ride out to see him and what magic he can do
