    Thanks for the concern G Blade yup it kept conking out at the traffic lights and then in full flight on the M6 which was not the best timing i got to Kingsland grange and it packed up altogether so i called the AA and the rubber that keeps the battery in place had come off, and the battery terminal had then slowly flexed until it broke. Called the wife to bring out fresh orange in my time of need and once fixed i was on my way.

    Glad you made it home ok Giv. I had a similar thing happen on mine, the rubber strap came off and the neg terminal vibrated loose and kept making and then breaking contact. AA rock when you need them most.

    This was the start at Lymm Truckstop note the oil all over the back wheel and the screwdriver in the oil filler hole which got windy to Bill smiths .[​IMG][/IMG]
