Introduced the Hornet to Devils Bridge this morning. Poles have gone in all along the road ready for the cameras but no cameras on them just yet. Presume it’ll only be a week or so before they’re up and running I did slow down to take a peek at the cameras you mentioned @Selmer50mark. I’m not totally convinced by them. Poles for the ‘proper’ cameras have been erected either side of them so seems pointless having a camera between. The cameras themselves look a lot smaller than they normally are as well, look a bit like the CCTV you see on houses. They’re painted yellow though and definitely made to look as real as possible. No speed camera signs as yet near to them either. I could be wrong though. I’ll probably be out that way again tomorrow, if I remember I’ll try to stop and get a pic to upload.
I popped out yesterday for an hour. These cameras are now all the way to Lancaster, ruining a favourite bit of road. Won't be going that way again!
