The part number on that ECU is a stock abs ecu for 09-11 models albeit with a track use only sticker on it but what's been altered inside if anything is anyone's guess!

My advise if you have lost confidence in your blades abs rip the lot out and throw it away then go back to a standard brake line setup!

I would rather spend the 500 quid on a set of m4's they would be a hell of a lot more usable and useful! ;)

The fireplace is just a toy until I finish my sp1 (again)
The brakes are phenomenal, other than the low speed nonsense, which is not what I bought the bike for, but as an engineer, I would like to sort the problem out

I'm an engineer mate and it bugged me also. I hate things that don't work as they should.

Exactly the reason why I removed mine and went ahead and upgraded at the same time

Do we know the outcome of this removal?? I'm looking at completing this over the winter months! .... No issues with mine as such! Only the nomal pressure changes at the lever when trailing! But my minds made up and can't wait to loose all that weight!!..... How did the light issue go???? I'm guessing with the ABS ecu out you have no warning light??
