Arthur, do you happen to have a pic of the one you have currently, if not are you going to sell the bracket once your bling one arrives?

Note: orange pain in bolt head NOT rust.. you can take things too far you know!

You can get them from FP Racing in the USA they only made a limited number and there are two types one for the better (older) 04-05 caliper and one for the 06-10 caliper you can fit the older larger caliper to later bikes but you need the 04 mount and of course the caliper take into mind the lines are also different for each. The braket is much more than just a bracket as its part of the caliper, the OEM mount is OTT on Honda's part imo but hey thats what they did. Mine is sold to a mate and is number 07 of however many was made but he may pull out, they cost £160.00ish to the door inc line.. I think! I will check.. Its total bling imo but can make it easy to remove the wheel but in the real world...maybe no diff to before, it does lower the mass however..

Thats true mate . Iv been thinking long and hard about how far to take my bike mod wise and after seeing your bike and the reaction it gets every time you post a pic , I have decided to follow your words of wisdom and build my dream bike at least once in my life , so this will be it .

Ill have to slot 1 of these in but eventually i want after market callipers . If the above bracket is for the stock caliper and you are buying a brembo bracket for your new calliper then do i also need a different bracket if i went for say AP Racing callipers or any other aftermarket brands ? or will they fit the bracket for the stock calliper ?

Oh Dan thats the way my man, who said dont trade just upgrade was right on the money...lol

The sad thing is most performance parts dont just fit together, there is always something to cause a problem and sometimes to move forward you take two steps back! Like my T drives with the OZ wheels they run a little close to the caliper body, OZ give you spacer rings to run two offsets with this front wheel and two models of bikes so I am lucky in that I can trim down the spacer ring to get an equal offset in the caliper body, Brembo do say I can have 0.70mm but I like to get it as near to perfect as poss, the answer in my case lays in small bits of paper...see...lol

shows clearence and space between body and disc, shows results with .5mm off the spacer ring! Looks good, 1mm goes neg way! (and all coz some little bald pl#nker wants 5.5mm disc's)

As for your question most Brembo rear calipers for example have an 84mm spacing from bolt to bolt and the offsets are the same from one model to another so most brackets can be used with a number of calipers like the HPK caliper is the same fitting as say OEM 1098 so yes some can be mounted to the same bracket, as AP racing is part owned by Brembo you would hope they run the same kind of standard? With out looking it up I can not say for sure.. Anyway anything is poss mate with the likes of say Colin around... Take into account that your wheels may use a hub that does not match up well with the OEM wheel, how this you ask? Well aftermarket wheels may be a swap out for the old ones but spacers and offset can be out by small amounts! Hence why I have the problem with the GP calipers, the OEM calipers have enough room for a bus unlike the GP ones, I hate to say most of the time mate its a suck it and see kind of thing! :) I had to make the front wheel spacers to work with the Ohlins forks and now custom made disc spacers to replace the OZ ones, simples....lol :S Always happy to try and help out if you need to ask mate.. :)
