Hey guys .. Surgery went well I was on an intensive care ward for a few days . I can remember a guy trying to thread a needle up an artery in my left hand which felt like he was sticking a poker Up my wrist . He said I'll have to do it when he is under and Lights out . Surgery took eight hours Woke up in pain. Feet like I'd been hit. In the back of the head by a sledge hammer . I think it was about 12 hours I was in pain and I couldn't feel the affect of the morphine so a pain doctor came and realised compared to what I take at home every day they only had me on 30 % of what im used to . Quadrupled the morphine and the last few days have Been a wierd blur . I maneged to get online the other night but couldn't stay awake long enough to update this thread . Feeling good today . Very stiff and still stuck in bed but been awake all day . Doctor says no lifting items more than 2 lbs , no physio , no strain to my neck for 6 weeks . Work thinks I'm gonna be back in Tuesday lol. I'll just have to tell them the truth . I don't think there is much they can do . If physio goes well tomorrow I can go home in a couple of days and get back to a decent Internet connection so I'll have alot of catching up to do then Catvh up with you all soon Cheers for the messages
Glad you have come through well Dan, sounds like an ordeal and a half ! Glad to have you back, listen to the docs relax and give yourself time to heal looks like you will have plenty of time to catch up, but remember its just us so probably all rubbish anyway ! All the best GWS

Good to hear you are on the mend Dan. you havent missd much, Not even any drama it the Blaggers household, no lighting strikes, chip pan fires, not so much as a stubbed toe. Highlight was he nearly managed to change bed though. Rest up fella summers not anywhere near here yet.

Glad to hear from you dude. Don't let work worry you ,a decent outfit like Apple should have all of that covered .Might have to get a chunk of sponge in the seat now you are 2" higher. How about changing your avatar to Morph? lol.So nice and easy and soon be back in the saddle.

"No lifting of anything more than 2lbs", blimey Dan, how do you take a pee?? Suppose you could get a nice little nurse to help you lift it! Behind every cloud etc,. etc,.
Glad the prognosis so far is good dan, can't lift mire than 2lb hey well at least you can still take a piss no problem. Look forward to the home update!
