Thanks for your messages guys . Im home now . Feeling a bit more mobile but my neck is ruined . Just swollen but its like having no neck . So to look at stuff i have to move my hole body lol. On a good note , I phoned work today to say its gonna take longer than i thought to return to work . I went over my managers head as he has been a bit of an arse about me being off work . Area manager told me to chill , take all the time you need and don't worry about pay as for surgery and major illness i get full pay !! Well chuffed with that so just kicking back now and doing some catch up on here
Great to see you about dan, when using tapatalk on the iPhone I open the 'latest' and your avatar is all the way down the page, have you got time on your hands mate? I've been following your progress with interest and you appear to be doing very well for such a major opp makes our aches and pains seem rather pathetic in comparison, how long before the next stage? Keep smiling
Good on yer mate. Some managers are thoughtless tossers who at times like this should be supporting you and sending their best wishes. Remember this saying Results always come when your troops are happy. An unhappy ship or dept will never succeed no matter how hard the manager tries.
Truer words never were spoken. My boss is always very hot on when people are ill they should take the time necessary to get back on top of their game. It's better for them and it's better for everyone else not having sickly people around getting under your feet and infecting all around them. With me however, he believes that the absolute best thing with any illness is to refuse to give in to it and work through the pain and discomfort. It's character building and should give me a much greater feeling of self worth. Now that's good man management. Apparently.
Yeah as soon as I get back to work I'll be letting them know the date for the next one, they are going to love me for that ha ha
Dan - so glad you're back Buddy. Jamie has had to pick up the "most modding" title in your absence and he is nearly broke now! Please start spending some cash on your bike to give him a break! Welcome back mate. Glad all is going to plan.
Like all the guys Dan, I'm really pleased that you are home now and phase one is sorted. I didn't realise there was another op to follow, but in the grand scheme of things mate if it gives you a better quality of life then it has to be done, (was gonna say it's a no-brainer but thought better of it )
Thank God, my card has melted, my wife has left me and the kids have no food or clothes............ But I did order this yesterday and the bike has never looked better so life goes on ....... But I am soooo glad your back mate !
