Advice Needed - Fuel Stabilisers

    I used sta-bil in both my bikes & my car when I mothballed them for 1.5 year. I filled the tank with fresh regular prior to storage.

    They have been off rhe road few times for 3 months period. I don't use any additive for this and all is fine

    Just an update to advise I did follow up on this with an email direct to Esso/Mobil. Part of their response, as @Kentblade points out:

    'Esso super unleaded petrol (Synergy Supreme+ Unleaded 97) is ethanol free (except in Devon, Cornwall, the Teesside area and Scotland) and we have no current intention to add ethanol to Synergy Supreme+ in other areas of the UK. We would therefore advise anyone who has concerns about the presence of ethanol in petrol to use Synergy Supreme+ – providing they do not fill up in Devon or Cornwall, the Teesside area or Scotland.'

    I consider myself fortunate (strictly for this subject) to not live in the non-supplied areas.

    An extra 10p per litre at the pump, but I assume it will be money well spent.
