Nice, deffo the rizoma grips for me !

I like the rearsets, and was contemplating them, but I find the standard ones stiff enough and the position is great for me, so added rizoma pegs.

    Cheers fr the pics Ben.

Has everyone missed my baby lol, it is dan I bought it new last may then spent best part of £3k on it maybe mire but I dare not count it up lol, I always liked the blade so
    Bought mine as a commuter/track
Bike but I love it it's prob a better ride than the GSXR, but that said I had the GSXR fettled with so it's evil from 1500 revs, its done 1600 miles and the blades done 1200 now lol, the only reason the GSXR is my main bike is it was my baby before I got the blade and I spent a fortune on it but I intend to do the same with the blade as I have fallen for it massively and genuinely don't know which one I'd miss more, so lucky for me I'm
Keeping both lol, if I wasn't such a big Suzuki fan n I'd if test rode the blade I'd have prob bought one, that daud my first ever bike was a 3 year old RRW and then a 2 year old 954 so Honda has always been in my blood!!!

I love them both for very different reasons but all round day to day and blasts I'd take the blade every time.

still cant beat the sound of a bike v twin!.... lets talk sp1/2's again! ha ha

It does sound sweet to be fair, yes dave it's the thou i always buy 1000's because of my size, I had the odd 600-750

Cheers for the compliments I know it's a Suzuki but I hope it can be appreciated despite it's badge lol

Anything that stands on its rear in 3rd at 130 with a twist of the throttle like it aint even trying gets my vote all day long (ive been told this is true ha ha).... just not a good as blade going round corners!! lol

more comfy though, makes a better everyday bike and tourer imo... but not as sharpe, and the blade is quicker bottom end and out of corners...

done quite a few swaps with my mate bruce's and thats my verdict, how you compare them ben??

Like I say mines been messed with it (GSXR) I think it pulls stronger than the blade from the off although mid range on the blade found me high up on my back wheel the other week without trying just riding quick, the blade feels like a wolf in sheeps clothing compared to GSXR accept it's a big bad wolf it's self lol.

That's why I prefer the blade it's power is misleading and mire refund I feel smoother on it and from the first proper run out my confidence was high on it.

It's strange how on paper 2 bikes can be so similar but ridden ard so chalk n cheese both in good ways though!!!

I have ridden the R1 and 2010 and 2011 ninja 1000 the blade and GSXR are a league above all 3 of the aforementioned not rode the bm but don't like them anyway.

If I had more money I'd by the 2008-2011 blade all day long fir it's handling alone, it's sublime.

    Simples!!!

    1: Sell the gixer.
    2: Buy the SP1.
3: Tart up the blade cause u no u gotta.

Then sell the SP1 to me for half the price, n we're all happy ;)

The bm is pants mate, overated in my opinion, big numbers yes, but gizmos holding it back making it feel safer than my old r6, just a bragging tool to make a wealthy middle age rider who shouldn't be on a thou in first place think he's better than he really is.

I personally think it's sad bikes are going that way, if you can't handle the bike with tc turne off, you shouldn't own it!!

I wish I had pics of my K8 on my phone still it was stunning!!!

My K8 was 173bhp at the wheel with just a can and de-cat!!

I love most things 2 wheels.

Totally agree with comments about the BMW.

I can't sell either yet I love them both to much lol

Nothing I want more or instead of in my price range, someone put another thread up about what you look for in a bike when going to buy one.

Simply something that makes me feel how I feel when I walk into my garage, my K8 was like that then I saw my L0 and wanted it more so swapped it, that 1199 is special though!!!
