Alblade 2013 Euro trip

    Get amongst it, Swiss! I like a rideout but a Euro trip...group of like-minded people, on bikes...just dreamy!

    I almost pant with excitement on the run to the ferry/tunnel.

    Mind you, I did 4 days round Wales last month and that was mustard too.

    Great trip Al and some good and bad points but that's life ! Me I would have been a bit pissed about the R6 totally unprepared for a massive trip not sure i would chance that going down to Kens .

    The R6 was leant out at last minute when the prepared 2006 one broke its rear shock 20 miles from tunnel.

    Alternative for Em was cancel trip or get recovered to Leeds to get her 2001 Zx6

    It did well apart from pads - triumph way more trouble.. R6 cost £900 last winter and had nothing spent on it since!

    nice read mate sounds like a tough trip and as allways you can plan for everything except the weather,but am glad you all had a good time and pretty safe trip

    Hi Al. Sorry, been a bit slack of late so have been saving reading the longer threads until I've had the time to give them justice and take my time over them. You know, at work. So I've just perused your trip. An excellent, honest write up and, as always great pictures. Bastogne is on my to do list so a bit jealous but there you go.
