When you are putting the gasket sealant on take your time and do a good job, it'll save you scraping it off after you torque up. put enough on so it'll take up any slight space between the two faces, we're talking interference fit gaps here. but not loads so it drops on the inside of the casings, and squeezes out in great globs. In an earlier post you said something like ''Got the faces quite clean'' .... Get them perfect before you start. Good luck, ..... Mike.
