You know something Martin, we are getting a side return extension in the next few weeks, after planning has been approved, and guess what? I did the plans lol.

Right, just had a very entertaining chat with Si and we think we know where we are going with this now. There is not enough meat around the rear M6 bolt holes to bolt anything to ,so we are thinking of using the underside of the subframe and boltholes. Si can't get at his bike until Thursday at the earliest. Can any of you post 2008 Bladers take some pix and measurements of the undersides of the subframe in the area of the two M6 boltholes and give me an idea of how thick it is and how much room there is underneath? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze?

Megs, I'd love to have the ability to draw something. Seriously mate, if I was to dunk a bloody spider in a pot of ink and let it walk across a page, it would probably be a better outcome. :D

That said, I'll have a go when I'm in work later mate. :)

There will be differences in clearances between different undertrays Alan. The race tail I have, is far closer the the subframe than r and g etc ( I think) lol. But, ill pop down thurs to my beloved and measure the clearanc from the subframe to the undertray, and the depth to the outside. I shall not, however, do one if my CAD drawings, as its obviously too technical for you :D

ill take plenty if pics with diagrams for you simpletons though... :D

Yeah that's handy. Just need some pix and dimensions of the back end now and how close your undertray is?

Si, look at this eBay item; 390476436885
Zoom in on the back part of the right hand side. Look at the bolt holes?
Is it the same as yours?

That's useful mate. So what is the the thickness of the front and rear threaded bolt holes. If I make some models outta alloy , have you got any tools to trim them to the right length?
I see that front allen bolt has an alloy pillar around it. How much room is there around the front M6 bolt hole that we are gonna use?

1.2 mm from the pillar mateā€¦thickness of the bolt holes? No idea dude. At a guess, about 5 or 6 mm?
Yeah, can use some snips to trim the bolts dude, no probs.

    My drawing:
