There's a warm, fuzzy feeling you get, like just before you fall asleep, that comes with knowing beyond all reasonable doubt that You can absolutely, positively rely on Si to live up to expectations.

Not an easy rep to earn these days.

Si, I need the thickness of the two M6 boltholes that we are gonna use? ie How many turns of an M6 bolt from top to bottom and what is distance from centre of holes to inside edge of subframe. Once I have these measurements I can get on with alloy models. Can anyone else help

    Thanks mate!

I may phone regarding butchering, or whatever, as i'm mechanically and fabricationally inept.

I do a mean cartoon though.

We can't all be good at everything Si. You may need to trim some bits off and extend the holes a bit. Useful tools would be some tinsnips and a 6mm drill bit in an electric drill. Gimme a shout when you are ready to try them?.

Right mate, bracket isn't going to work…too much plastic on the seat to cut away…what a fekking numpty. So, what i need is a metal L bracket making. I'll butcher a s/h seat, and was cut off original L piece and replace with an uber strong metal one that your goodself will make. The problem is that the original plastic bracket will not fit into the cutout on the rear of the subframe,it's too thick and the hole is too small in the under tray…. because the Italians in all their wisdom ( based on looks) decided to make a race under tray that obscures the slot. Great at making pasta, but mechanicals like alpha Romeos and other ilk tend to be shite. Nice shoes though…..

I think gary will have the same sort of problem with the plastic protruding from the rear seat too…it negates using a bracket?

If you can make any sense of all this, then you must be on the mushrooms dude……..Hahahahahaha!

Basically, an metal L bracket is all i need to replace the plazzy one under the seat, then the jobs a good un, as the lock at the front and the metal l bracket will be well strong enough to hold the seat on.

This ok?? Strong as you like on the material mate, it's to thread the webbing through and tie the bags down to the seat. Shouldn't bend should it??
