Looks shite with luggage off, but great and easy to strap any bag / tent you like to it.

Rested on the pillion seat and fixed simple enough to the rear pegs much like the Ventura.

Thought it was genius and the these boys didn't fucking hang around, was a brilliant solution IMO...

That's the way I've just been looking Colin. Utilise the two strap holes then make a plate to sit on top.
The front will have to be packed underneath 15mm to clear the plastics and the rear would have to be a block or similar to take the weight onto the lug that the rear of the seat clips into would have to be 30mm
The back IMO would simply use the jacking screws as you state and the two pillion strap screws would secure the front.

I have a drawing out but it's proper fag paper material ;)

Would you square the plate or taper it at the rear?

Reckon it wants to be 260mm wide at front 200mm at the back and 20mm turned up at the edge with two slots either side for the straps.

Will pop the US 50 luggage back on tomorrow and see what is an ideal width IMHO

This is how it is at the mo.

I'm with you mate, I don't think there will be an issue, but as sinewave says, it seems to turn the edge of the seat up, I ended up putting the strap around the rear just as a make sure kind of thing.

For looks wise I'd say have it tapered, but for function squared. Me personally I'd have it tapered.
I'll have a look over the weekend if I get a chance and draw something up. Hardest bit for me at the mo is making time.

Id post my drawing but you'd wet your pants ;)

Personally size is user dependant? Such as sinewaves would benifit from being wider.

Just hoping for rain tonight now, then I can go play in the fitting shop ;)

I will have a go at making whatever designs you guys come up with! I can't test or fit em though, as I don't have a late model Blade. If it needs modding after fitting , I will do it, at your cost and postage though. can't do CNC stuff, just hand fabbing. Just send me a drawing with dimensions and I'll make it outta ally, mild or stainless???
