Bazza, is this anything to do with farmers being told to stop shooting (vermin) Crows and Pigeons? I listened to a Jeremy Vine on R2 yesterday about how Crows need to be controlled (Pecking new born lambs eyes out etc) the lovelies do not want them touching. How dare anyone touch vermin.
Indeed or as a farmer around here pointed out they won't be able to control feral pigeons and this significantly increases the risk of bird flu reaching the chicken population. Not that the pinky liberal vegan do-gooders will care.
Well I love all the Corvids...I spend ages watching them. Most of them are more intelligent than half the people I've had the misfortune to deal with in my career! If you want to sort the ills of the world out, then get shut of the human race because it's us who have caused every issue threatening it's existence.
Corvids are incredibly intelligent birds. They can also be predatory and I don't just mean raiding nests, i've come across a Magpie that had caught a starling and had it pinned down just as if it was a sparrowhawk.
