thanks for the feedback. nene The ABS models have a larger battery and importantly the terminal polarity is also reversed compared to the non ABS ones. on yours the aliant fits it the right way round but on mine I would have to fit it back to front which would complicate the cable connection unless the actual battery is short enough to be mounted upright. I am now looking at shido (they have brought out the connect range which can transfer battery history & status to iphone) & shyrich. Just to mix things up for me, my local shop offered me fulbat (belgian) SLA same spec as yausa for £20 back to the drawing board!!
