Mate, I just asked Ling wha the best thing to do is as she is a bit of a fleabay pro. She recons you should go to fleabay customer support section and it will walk you though the process of either forcing the dude to send the alarm or you get your money back. If you don’t get it lets watch out for it popping up again and some how screw up his auction. Not sure how but someone here might ?
Yea you got to start a dispute. We could all keep bidding up then cancelling bids as our children and loopy grandparents keep bidding by mistake, then it will drop down to 99p 5mins before the end!
alarm cheers guys, dont think i will have a problem getting my money back its just the principal ,he probably knows that and would sooner take the bad feedback and black mark from ebay, and re advertise hoping to get more money, he should have put a reserve on it , maybe i should give him the benefit of the doubt and it could still turn up, but because of the lack of communication from him i dont think so steve
What a mug! Paid by PayPal? Go and open a dispute asap, they're legendary at sorting this stuff out, just takes a bit of time.
alarm update lads, just had an email he has been away, posting alarm in the morning, we will see steve
alarm No martin, still not arrived had an email from him last friday saying he had been away and was going to post it saturday morning, gave him the benefit of the doubt but still not here. contacted him again yesterday and again no answer, going to go through ebay now, they will get my money back, but i reakon thats what he wanted all the time because i got it so cheap steve
Don't give in until the last knockings mate. Send him an email every day letting him know it still hasn't turned up
alarm well fellas he has done exactly as i expected, i put in a complaint with ebay, stated that i still wanted the item and not a refund, and guess what they contact him, he refunds my money and case closed, funny how when they contact him he replies straight away, yet when i do no reply, oh well left him shiitty feedback, i will keep a lookout for his items and f**k his auctions up, thanks to everybody who responded to this thread steve
That sound like a plan, everyone bid higher and higher then a few minutes from the end withdraw your bids leaving the fella with only a small starting bid.
you could post up his ebay user name or any other auction he has running just so we can all piss him off,
I knew this would happen. Basically he was expecting to get £50+ for it. Now he is trying to pull a fast one! I hate him and I don't even know him!
