You havent offended me Blade, its far better talking to an intelligent person who knows what suspension can do/will do unlike those bafoons over on pistonheads who think suspension is mainly a type of bridge.
Intelligent not sure where you get that from mate. I know what you mean about some peoples opinion / knowledge on suspension also, the basis are not over complicated at all but people seem scared to make adjustments and see it as some black magic or something. Dont get me wrong for the right person the shock will be great, perhaps I should have just said, road riders might want to budget for possibly a re spring and revalve.
I say buy it if you can afford it then try it! if its the bollox ots a bonus if not send it someone for springing valving to your weight still cheap! I WANT IT!!
