sat in ripon market with daughter on bike,police woman drives by shouts at me to stay where i am, gets out of car ,has to call another coper with some tools to come and confiscate it . i showed her that there was a switch under the seat to make it impossible to operate whilst on the road (track use only). i caused a bit of a scene which prompted several passers by to ask said copper if she should be out getting people for real crimes, threatened to arrest me if i didn't get in the van due to the people giving her lip. anyhoo … in the van with my daughter ,(she was about 10 at the time) copper gives the standard copper patronising talk ,only to be told by my daughter that she didn't like the police anymore . nothing i could have said could have beaten that.
