I test rode the new zx6 before going for the blade, i just didn't like the position of the mirrors at all ( anal i know ) they are soo low down n i hated it, its to aid with rear vision i was told, i said its far safer to watch where am going than to worry whats happening behind me
Your right Jimbo the 2010 model aint the current model which has dominated BSB and WSB but it's a dam fine bike none the less. I have ridden a 2012 ZX10R and for balls out sports riding or Track day use they are more fun than a Blade with a better top end power surge. My 2010 is just as good as 2012-13 engine wise but lacks the ABS and TC of the later models. I'd love to buy one of the ex 2013 ZX10 BSB units flooding the market recently for Track Days but I'm all spent up this year! I bought the Blade as it's a better road bike by a mile over the ZX10, it's got far more torque in the mid range and this makes it far more driveable on the road etc. I'd still buy a new Blade for the road if buying new but the Track bike would be a harder choice now. Money no object it would be a toss up between a RSV4 Factory, HP4 or a Modded ZX10R
The ex 2013 BSB 'Be Wiser' Bikes were up for grabs recently on Motoforum for around £14K each, not bad for 8 month old Bikes which cost around £25K to build.
Fair shout SW... And a good account of both bikes. Heard the new is more refined and yours is a bit of a handful but must be great fun. I'd like to try one that's for sure. As for money no object, think I'd get the rsv4 factory too. Looks like a great bike that. 2014 colours are awesome too. Although not sure I'd say the kwak has dominated bsb
